Job Description

The Group Leader - Revenue Intelligence & Seller Experience leads the team responsible for embedding predictive, prescriptive, and generative AI-powered intelligence into the seller workflow across Commercial Sales. This leader owns execution of the intelligence and seller-experience roadmap set with the VP, Sales Operations & Enablement — translating strategy into an operating plan delivered through a team of people managers.

The role sits at the intersection of analytics, CRM enablement, and seller experience design. It combines technical fluency with strong people leadership: the leader manages managers, not just individual contributors, and is accountable for the adoption and business impact of the tools their teams build — not just their delivery.

Responsibilities

Roadmap Execution

  • Own execution of the Revenue Intelligence & Seller Experience roadmap, in partnership with the VP, translating strategic priorities into quarterly operating plans.

  • Prioritize investment across the team's five functional areas (Revenue Intelligence, Seller Performance Analytics, Sales Processes & Workflows Automation, Seller Experience Transformation, Reporting & Business Performance) based on seller impact and effort.

AI/ML & Analytics Portfolio

  • Direct a portfolio of predictive and generative AI solutions: next-best-action models, churn/growth propensity, segmentation, generative sales copilots, and performance dashboards.

  • Partner with data science, engineering, and analytics partners to build, scale, and govern these products; balance new development with platform stability and data integrity.

Seller Experience & Platform Ownership

  • Own the seller-facing experience layer across CRM and digital sales tools, ensuring integrations (Salesforce and related platforms) reduce noise and surface the highest-impact actions.

  • Monitor adoption and usage of intelligence tools in the field; treat low adoption as a product problem to solve, not a training gap to escalate.

Team Leadership

  • Lead and develop 5 people managers (M2) across Revenue Intelligence, Analytics, Automation, Seller Experience, and Reporting; build a bench for future people-leadership roles.

  • Set clear priorities and performance expectations across a 20+ FTE org; run agile, sprint-based delivery cadences.

  • Recruit and retain analytical and product talent in a competitive market.

Stakeholder Partnership

  • Translate model outputs and platform capabilities into clear recommendations for Sales, Sales Enablement, and Sales Ops leadership.

  • Represent the function in VP-level planning cadences; flag tradeoffs and risks proactively rather than waiting to be asked.

  • Partner with Marketing, Finance, and Strategy on forecasting, campaign performance, and planning inputs.

Data Governance

  • Ensure data quality, governance, and privacy compliance across CRM, transactional, and customer data used by the team's models.

  • Partner with IT/data engineering on integrations across the data platform stack (e.g., Snowflake, cloud environments).

Reporting & Insights

  • Define and track KPIs for both seller adoption and business impact (pipeline velocity, win rate, productivity, seller NPS).

  • Deliver executive-ready reporting on the value realized from the team's initiatives.

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Analytics, Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.

  • MBA or advanced degree a plus, not required.

Experience

  • 6–8 years in sales analytics, sales/revenue operations, or analytics-adjacent product roles.

  • 2–4 years leading teams, including experience managing people managers or senior individual contributors.

  • Track record delivering AI/ML-enabled or advanced analytics solutions with measurable adoption and business impact.

  • Experience operating within a broader analytics/sales-ops strategy set by more senior leadership, rather than owning enterprise strategy independently.

Technical Expertise

  • Working knowledge of descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive analytics and where each applies to seller workflows.

  • Familiarity with AI/ML applications in forecasting, prioritization, segmentation, and customer intelligence.

  • Proficiency with SQL and Python or R sufficient to review and challenge team output.

  • Experience with BI/visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, or Looker) and CRM platforms (Salesforce or equivalent).

  • Exposure to cloud data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, AWS/Azure/GCP) sufficient to partner effectively with data engineering.

Leadership & Professional Skills

  • Strong structured problem-solving; comfortable operating with incomplete information.

  • Effective communicator with senior stakeholders — able to translate technical output into a business recommendation.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead through managers rather than defaulting to individual execution.

  • Bias for action balanced with judgment on when to escalate risk or ask for direction from the VP.
