Main Responsibilities:

1. Equipment installation, design start-up and process improvement.

  • Responsible for the installation of new equipment, design and implementation of machine modifications, moving startup of operations, trouble shooting of packaging equipment, size changes and continues improvement of all filling and packaging processes (cycle time reduction, time and motion study, process quality improvement and line efficiency.

2. Training, S.O.P's and G.M.P's development

  • Serve on S.O.P.'s and G.M.P. development and training for all departments and operations within Filling & Packaging. Ensures departments operates within corporate F.D.A., G.M.P.'s and internal guidelines.

3. Lead hand for the activities of several mechanics.

  • Trains staff of skilled mechanical and electrical technician. Trains machine operators for the safe assembly and operation of filling & packaging equipment.

4. Equipment preventative maintenance and repairs.

  • Directly responsible for the preventative maintenance and repairs of all filling & packaging equipment including tunnel sterilizing filling systems, label vision, capital PLC's and sterilizers both in Building 83 and in satellite filling & packaging facilities.

5. Packaging Materials specifications and approvals.

  • Approves Packaging Material Specifications and Designs for Purchasing, Label Desing, and Filling & Packaging. This involves being familiar with all aspects of Packaging Material Specifications and how they affect the equipment used. It also requires Packaging Material design qualities and knowledge of state-of-the-art equipment and procedures used for the incoming Quality Control of packaging materials.

About You

MinimumQualifications:

  • High School Diploma

  • Licensed Millwright (Electronic, Mechanical Technology)

  • Minimum 5 years ofpreviousrelevant work experience.

  • Mechanical, Electric and electronic technical skills

  • Knowledge and skills in Packaging Materials Design, Construction Technology, Sterile Techniques

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Preferred Technical School or equivalent and licensed Millwright (Electronic, Mechanical Technology) plus a minimum 10 years ofpreviousrelevant work experience.

Hours Of Work:

  • Inclusive from Monday to Friday 8:00 am- 4:00 pm
