Thorough understanding of metal assembly processes and procedures, including the ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, bills of material (BOMs), and work instructions.
Ability to lead pre-shift/Tier 1 meetings and effectively communicate production priorities and expectations.
Strong leadership, organizational, communication, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to resolve basic assembly and quality issues.
Knowledge of quality standards, inspection processes, and safe handling of hazardous materials.
Previous SAP and Microsoft Office 365 experience preferred, or the ability to learn required systems and applications.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, lead a team environment, and maintain effective working relationships across departments.
Strong attention to detail, commitment to quality, and high ethical and professional standards.
Regular and predictable attendance required; must be in good standing with no more than one active disciplinary action and no more than one attendance point.
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required; previous manufacturing or metal assembly experience required; previous leadership, trainer, or lead experience preferred.
Forklift experience preferred and ability to obtain company certification.
Physical Requirements
Regularly lift and/or move up to 35 pounds and perform prolonged standing, bending, stooping, reaching, and repetitive motions.
Ability to perform visual inspections, identify small defects, and safely use hand tools, power tools, measurement devices, and powered industrial equipment.
