The Early Phase Clinical Manufacturing Group Lead builds and develops a high-performing team by instilling core values, fostering an inclusive environment, and driving safe, compliant manufacturing execution Key responsibilities include leading by example, coaching employees on the floor, and delegating tasks effectively.

What you will do:

  • Direct daily production, safety, and quality operations to meet delivery goals.
  • Coordinate cross-functional manufacturing and schedule facility and equipment maintenance.
  • Oversee batch execution and optimize cycle times across production lines.
  • Lead continuous improvement, equipment qualification, and operational efficiency projects.
  • Coach and develop staff through regular 1:1s, reviews, and career planning.
  • Manage floor personnel, lead shift meetings, and assign daily tasks.
  • Support the full employee lifecycle, including hiring, onboarding, and performance management.
  • Ensure inspection readiness, manage quality compliance, and host regulatory audits.
  • Lead safety incident investigations, facility walkthroughs, and action plans.
  • Author and approve deviation investigations, change controls, and department SOPs.

What we are looking for:

  • High school diploma or GED at minimum.
  • Pharmaceutical manufacturing and process equipment experience is preferred.
  • Experience fostering an inclusive culture that embraces continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Requires consistent, in-person attendance.
  • Frequent, and sometimes continuous, standing, walking, bending, twisting, reaching, kneeling, crouching, and crawling.
  • High level of dexterity required for handling tools, manipulating small parts, and repetitive motion of hands, wrists, and fingers.
  • Frequently required to lift and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds, with some roles requiring lifting up to 100 pounds with assistance.
  • Personal Protection Equipment as required.
