ABOUT THE ROLE

Important note:
  • Fluency in both English and French is required, as you will interact daily with international teams and stakeholders.
  • This position requires a strong on-site presence at the Group's headquarters near Orléans (Boigny-sur-Bionne - 45) While occasional remote working is possible, the successful candidate is expected to spend the majority of their time on-site, with occasional international travel to the Group's entities.

As Group Lead Delivery, you will own and continuously develop ONE Project, Alstef Group's global project delivery operating system. You will define and govern our delivery standards, strengthen project governance, improve portfolio performance, and support our regions in delivering complex projects safely, on time, on budget, and with sustainable profitability.

This is a highly transversal leadership role with a strong impact on the Group's operational performance.

Your Missions

As Group Lead Delivery, you will be responsible for defining, governing and continuously improving Alstef Group's global project delivery framework.

Drive our global delivery strategy

· Own, deploy and continuously improve the ONE Project framework, including project lifecycle, stage gates, governance, templates, roles & responsibilities, and supporting toolchain.

· Define and maintain Group-wide project delivery standards, KPIs and reporting.

· Lead the adoption of project management methodologies through training, certification, audits and communities of practice.

· Develop and maintain the Group's project knowledge base, including lessons learned, playbooks and best practices.

Strengthen portfolio performance

· Establish portfolio governance routines and provide visibility on project capacity, resources and priorities.

· Monitor project performance across the Group through standardized dashboards and reporting.

· Drive consistency in planning, forecasting, change management and project controls.

· Identify early warning signals and support turnaround plans for critical projects.

· Facilitate Group stage-gate reviews to improve execution quality and decision-making.

Support complex international projects

· Act as a key partner on strategic multi-entity and international projects, from tendering through execution.

· Define and promote the most effective delivery models across engineering, manufacturing and regional organizations.

· Support regions in successfully delivering large and complex projects while increasing their project management maturity.

Own operational risk governance

· Define and manage the Group's project risk management framework.

· Conduct independent health checks on high-risk or strategic projects.

· Lead escalation processes for critical projects, ensuring executive visibility and effective recovery actions.

Ensure bid-to-delivery continuity

· Partner closely with Sales and Tendering teams to assess project deliverability and strengthen bid governance.

· Standardize project handover from Sales to Delivery to ensure a single, reliable project baseline.

· Collaborate with regional organizations and the Group Project Director to continuously improve delivery capabilities and execution excellence across the Group.


ABOUT YOU

You are an experienced project delivery leader with a proven ability to manage complexity while driving operational excellence.

You combine hands-on project execution experience with a strategic mindset, enabling you to build governance, standardize ways of working and improve performance across an international organization.

You are not a reporting PMO. You are a leader who takes ownership, drives execution and delivers measurable results.

You bring:

  • Significant experience managing large, complex projects or international project portfolios.
  • A strong background in Project Delivery, Program Management or PMO leadership.
  • Experience within industrial engineering, automation, intralogistics, material handling, baggage handling or similar project-based environments.
  • Demonstrated success in improving project performance across cost, schedule, margin, quality and risk.
  • Experience designing or transforming delivery organizations, governance frameworks and operating models.
  • Strong expertise in project management methodologies, portfolio management, stage-gate governance, KPIs and operational risk management.
  • Ability to define, implement and continuously improve standardized delivery processes.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence across regions, functions and leadership teams.
  • A pragmatic, structured and results-oriented mindset.
  • Strong leadership, accountability and execution discipline.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of translating complex situations into clear decisions and actionable plans
