Looking for a role where you can build your career, get stuck into varied projects, and work with good people who keep things real? This Technical Business Analyst role sits in our JV Worx space and supports Joint Venture and Alliance projects across discovery, process improvement, solution design, testing, and implementation.

You’ll work closely with operational and technical teams to turn business needs into practical, fit-for-purpose solutions. It’s a role with plenty of variety, strong stakeholder connection, and real scope to grow.

Ngā tino kawenga mahi | Key role responsibilities

  • Work with project and operational stakeholders to understand business needs, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Gather, document, and manage business, functional, and technical requirements across the delivery lifecycle.
  • Map current and future state processes, identify gaps, and support better ways of working.
  • Support solution design, testing, implementation, and ongoing improvement of JV Worx and related initiatives.
  • Build strong relationships across the business, vendors, and IT teams to help deliver good outcomes.

  • Tertiary qualification in Information Technology or a related discipline.
  • Business analysis in a complex environment, ideally within construction, utilities, or a large enterprise setting.
  • Eliciting, documenting, and managing business, functional, and technical requirements throughout the delivery lifecycle.
  • Mapping workflows, processes, system impacts, business rules, and supporting documentation such as process maps or diagrams.
  • Facilitating workshops and engaging with multiple stakeholders, vendors, and technical teams to achieve clear outcomes.
  • Supporting solution delivery activities, including testing, implementation, user acceptance testing, and post-delivery enhancements.
  • Working with systems, applications, integrations, and technical solution delivery, with strong communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills.
