Looking for a role with real variety, proper responsibility, and room to keep growing? As an IT Project Manager, you’ll lead a mix of strategic technology and change projects that help keep Fulton Hogan moving forward. From infrastructure and applications through to business transformation, no two projects will feel quite the same.

This role suits someone who likes to get stuck in, bring people together, and turn plans into action. You’ll be trusted to lead with confidence, work closely with stakeholders, and deliver Good Work with a team that’s supportive, and switched on when it matters.

Ngā tino kawenga mahi | Key role responsibilities

  • Lead the delivery of strategic Group IT projects across the full project lifecycle, from planning through to closure.
  • Manage multiple concurrent projects covering technology, infrastructure, applications, and business change.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders, vendors, and project teams to keep delivery on track and outcomes clear.
  • Oversee project scope, budgets, schedules, risks, issues, governance, and reporting.
  • Support change, adoption, and continuous improvement across delivery practices and the wider PMO.

  • At least 6 years’ industry experience, including delivering technical and major change IT projects.
  • Proven ability to deliver projects within scope, schedule, budget, and quality expectations.
  • Strong stakeholder, vendor, and team engagement skills, with the confidence to lead conversations and keep people aligned.
  • Experience working across both Waterfall and Agile delivery environments in a large enterprise setting.
  • A proactive, calm, delivery-focused style, with strong attention to detail and a genuine commitment to safety and doing the right thing.
