We’re looking for a Programme Coordinator to join our Modern Information Programme in Christchurch. You will ensure effective planning, reporting and delivery across the team.

This is a fixed term role starting ASAP until December 2027.

Mō te tūranga | About the role

By working closely with the Programme and Project Managers, delivery teams, stakeholders and vendors, you will enable successful outcomes through strong organisation, clear communication and consistent application of project management processes.

Ngā kawenga matua | Key responsibilities

  • Coordinate programme and project activities, including schedules, actions, milestones and dependencies.
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation, registers, reports and meeting materials.
  • Support governance processes by organising meetings, taking minutes and tracking follow-up actions.
  • Liaise with internal teams, stakeholders and vendors to keep workstreams aligned and on track.
  • Assist with programme communications, training coordination and stakeholder updates.
  • Manage administrative support such as travel bookings, logistics, purchase orders and invoice tracking.

Essential

  • Experience in a project, programme or coordination support role.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work across multiple priorities and stakeholders.
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365 tools (Teams, Outlook, SharePoint, Word, Excel).

Desirable

  • Experience working within a structured project delivery framework.
  • Exposure to IT, digital or business transformation projects.
  • Experience supporting basic financial or vendor management activities.
  • Relevant qualification or training in project management or administration.
