The Opportunity

We’re seeking an experienced and collaborative Group IT Senior Business Analyst to join us on a 12-month max term contract, to be based in Richmond to join our Group IT team. Reporting to the Group Digital Manager, you be focusing to understand business needs and turning them into practical solutions, documenting requirements, mapping processes, and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team to help deliver a key project in our digital transformation journey. You’ll work as part of a cross-Tasman project team focused on the rollout of a Digital Forms platform to improve our operational efficiency and digitise core processes.

What will you be responsible for?

  • Utilising your business analysis expertise to elicit, validate, and communicate meaningful requirements, making a real impact on business outcomes.
  • Leading and facilitating workshops to analyse business processes, challenge assumptions, identify improvement opportunities, and define robust business requirements.
  • Owning requirements through the project lifecycle, supporting stakeholders through change planning, go-live, and hypercare.
  • Building strong relationships with a diverse range of individuals, tailoring your approach and mentoring others to ensure the best results.
  • Supporting project risk, quality, and schedules while seeking ways to deliver better and safer work outcomes.
  • Delivering on targeted Change Management strategies, supporting end users and driving successful adoption across the business.
  • Upholding our commitment to safety, quality, and environmental best practices, always striving for improvement.

How you’ll connect to the role?

To be successful in the Senior Business Analyst role, you’ll need to bring more than 3 years of experience in business analysis, ideally gained in large or complex organisations.

Your proven track record in delivering large IT projects, combined with expertise in stakeholder engagement, will be essential for driving outcomes. You’ll need to be an effective communicator with excellent listening, documentation, and organisational skills.

Experience with key systems like SharePoint, AvePoint, and Jira is highly valued. The ability to influence, adapt to change, and work collaboratively, while consistently demonstrating integrity, will see you thrive in this dynamic, fast-paced programme environment.
