Job Description

We are looking for a Group Insurance Coordinator to support the management of GAC’s group-wide insurance policies and insurance-related matters across our global operations. This role involves working closely with insurers, brokers, legal advisors, and internal teams to ensure appropriate coverage and effective risk management.

Requirements

What would your day at GAC look like?

• Manage and provide guidance on insurance claims, including claim assessment, communication, and escalation where required.
• Liaise with global operations, insurers, brokers, and other stakeholders on insurance-related matters.
• Support the annual insurance renewal process, including reviewing coverage, terms, conditions, and premiums.
• Provide practical and commercially focused advice on insurance coverage, risk mitigation, and claims management.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date group insurance policies, records, documentation, and renewal schedules.
• Support the business in identifying and mitigating insurance risks and potential exposures.
• Promote insurance awareness and provide guidance to operational and business teams on insurance requirements.
• Identify opportunities to improve insurance processes, procedures, and operational efficiencies.
• Work closely with the Legal & Compliance team and senior management on insurance and risk-related matters

What are we looking for?

1. Education: Bachelor's degree in insurance or related field.
2. Experience: 5–7 years of relevant experience in insurance, claims handling, and insurance administration.
3. Technical skills: good knowledge of insurance principles, coverage, claims, and risk management, Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and general IT applications,
4. Personal Attributes: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, attention to detail, sound decision-making and problem-solving abilities, with effective negotiation, influencing, and stakeholder management skills.
