We are hiring for:

Group Homes Program Manager (IDD Population) (equivalent to Residential Director)

Performs a variety of administrative, training and personnel functions. Works hand in hand with unit investigations for compliance and allegations of abuse, neglect, and exploitation. Coordinates and monitors unit’s internal quality assurance system/ needs. Assists Administrator with the development of services and oversight of the unit. Takes rotating on-call responsibility. Relies on experience, knowledge, and judgment with limited direction and supervision.

Annual Salary Range: 65-75k

REPORTS TO:

IDD Regional Operations Director

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

This position supervises Multiple Group Home Supervisors, and Direct Support Professionals

In-Office Setting / and Works from various assigned Group Homes:

This position will primarily work in group home settings each day.

This position will have to attend meetings and work from North Brunswick Corporate office at times

*There are no work from home opportunities for this role.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Working closely with clinical and professional healthcare staff to maintain communication and provide feedback, standardizing procedures, and expediting the implementation of person-centered plans.
  • Provides shift coverage and problem solving with group home supervisors in times of acute shortages of direct support staff. Provides on call coverage for people supported they support and services as needed.
  • Works closely with other clinical/professional staff to maintain communication and provide feedback, standardize procedures, expedite support plan implementation and workflow and to improve the efficiency of subordinates.
  • Works closely with Clinical Case Managers and other clinical/professional staff to maintain communication and provide feedback, standardize procedures, expedite Person Centered Plan implementation and workflow and to improve efficiency of team
  • All other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent, Degree preferred.
  • Years of experience working with people with developmental disabilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Flexible schedule and availability to provide on-call coverage as needed.
  • CPR, first aid, NCI and/or MedTech certification, a plus
  • Must be at least 18 years of age

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • Regularly required to lift 20 lbs.
  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to pull a minimum of 20 lbs.
  • Must be able to squat, kneel, crawl, crouch, climb, and stoop.
  • Must be able to regularly use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls.
  • Required to regularly stand and walk.
  • Must be able to demonstrate proficiency in CPR from the floor level requiring to work on hands, knees, bending, standing and lifting.
  • Vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, and peripheral vision.
  • Must be able to talk and hear.
