Job Description

As Health & Safety coordinator, it’s your personal mission to ensuring a safe and healthy work environment for all our employees. In collaboration with the local teams, you will be responsible for developing, coordinating and implementing health and safety procedures across all our international locations. You develop group-wide standards, policies and improvement initiatives while ensuring they are effectively translated into practical actions at site level. Through a combination of hands-on support, coaching and governance, you help our sites continuously improve their health & safety performance and compliance.

Function

• Investigate and analyze: You will conduct thorough investigations into the current health and safety procedures at all group locations. Your role will involve identifying potential risks, gaps, and areas that require improvement.
• Coordination: You work closely together with local health and safety teams, where you ensure the consistent application of health and safety standards. You will coordinate the implementation of best practices across all group sites. Together, you create a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
• Prevention: You will proactively develop and implement preventive measures to minimize workplace hazards and risks. Your role will involve promoting a culture of prevention & risk minimization, ensuring that potential issues are addressed before they result in incidents.
• Collaboration: You will collaborate closely with the local teams to professionalize and enhance our health and safety policies, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and fostering a culture of safety and wellbeing throughout the organization.
• Training and awareness: You define the group's HSE training strategy and provide tools, materials and guidance to local teams. You help create awareness and embed a strong safety mindset throughout the organization.
• Reporting: You will be responsible for compiling and presenting detailed reports on health and safety performance across the group. This includes reporting on incidents, near misses, compliance status, and the progress of implemented safety initiatives. Your reports will be used to inform senior management and guide strategic decision-making.
• Regulatory compliance: You will ensure that all group locations comply with local, national, and international health and safety regulations. Staying up to date with changes in legislation and best practices will be key to your success.

Profile

• You have experience in a Health & Safety role within a multi-site and preferably international manufacturing environment.
• You know how to engage local teams, earning their trust by working with them to co-create solutions rather than dictating policies.
• You know how to influence and support local stakeholders without direct hierarchical authority.
• You are able to translate the insights you gather into a broader health and safety strategy that works for all locations across the group.
• You can effectively communicate at all levels of the organization, ensuring that health and safety measures are understood and embraced by all employees.
• You have an entrepreneurial mindset with a no-nonsense, hands-on mentality.
• You’re able to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• You work in one of our offices within the group, and are willing to make regular trips abroad (50%).
• You’re Fluent in English
