ABOUT THE ROLE

THE OPPORTUNITY

As part of our transformation and growth strategy, we are creating the role of Group Financial Controller | Head of Accounting

Reporting directly to the CFO, you will act as a key strategic partner, structuring and strengthening the Group’s finance function to support:

  • International growth

  • Operational excellence

  • Debt and covenant management

  • Future M&A transactions and post-merger integration

This is a high-visibility position with exposure to banks, auditors, executive leadership and shareholders.

YOUR MISSION

Group Financial Leadership & Reporting

You will ensure the reliability, transparency and performance of the Group’s financial reporting framework.

  • Lead Group Holding and EMEA accounting teams
  • Oversee international accounting teams (APAC & Americas)
  • Supervise monthly Group reporting (P&L, Cash Flow, Net Debt)
  • Oversee consolidated financial statements (annual & semi-annual – French GAAP)
  • Ensure production of local statutory accounts
  • Guarantee full compliance with shareholder agreements and banking covenants
  • Coordinate relationships with auditors and banking partners

You will harmonize and standardize reporting practices across geographies while designing a scalable structure capable of supporting the Group’s next phase of growth.

Financial Control, Treasury & Risk Management

You will strengthen financial processes and secure the Group’s financial structure.

  • Supervise Treasury and cash management (cash pooling, TMS, Factoring, short-term financing)
  • Optimize working capital and liquidity
  • Manage intercompany flows, transfer pricing and FX exposure
  • Implement hedging strategies and risk mitigation tools
  • Ensure tax compliance and optimization at Group level
  • Develop and harmonize accounting policies, internal controls and procedures

Your mission: build a scalable, robust and efficient finance backbone.

M&A and Post-Merger Integration

In a context of anticipated external growth, you will:

  • Support financial due diligence processes
  • Structure integration of acquired entities
  • Harmonize accounting and reporting standards
  • Secure financial data reliability during integration phases

You will play a central role in future acquisitions.

Leadership & Transformation

  • Lead and develop international finance teams
  • Foster a performance-driven, accountable culture
  • Act as trusted advisor to the CFO and Executive Committee
  • Drive continuous improvement of systems, tools and processes

This role combines operational depth with strategic impact.


ABOUT YOU

You are a senior finance leader with strong technical expertise and experience in complex, international environments.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting

  • 8+ years in senior accounting / Group controlling roles

  • Strong experience in long-term project accounting (construction/services), including revenue recognition

  • Deep knowledge of French GAAP and IFRS

  • Proven exposure to Private Equity-backed environments

  • Experience with M&A and post-merger integration

  • Strong treasury and cash management expertise

  • Experience managing teams

  • Fluent in English and French
