Role mission Support the delivery of robust, accurate and timely group financial reporting across Kepler Interactive. This role is central to the day-to-day execution of the Group's financial close, consolidation, and statutory reporting processes, while contributing to the continuous improvement of systems, controls, and accounting policies across the Group.
How is success defined in this role?
Execute a timely and accurate month-end close process every month, working closely with studio finance teams to ensure group consolidation is completed with no disruption to business deliverables
Support the preparation and delivery of Group Financial Statements and Holding entity statutory accounts that are audit-ready and signed off within agreed timelines
Act as a key point of contact for studio finance teams, building strong working relationships and ensuring consistent application of Group accounting policies
Play an active role in the implementation and continuous improvement of the Group's consolidation system (Tagetik/ERP), enhancing efficiency and data integrity
Contribute to the drafting and maintenance of Group-wide accounting policies and procedures, ensuring they are clearly documented, up to date and consistently applied
Support the Group Senior Finance Manager in delivering a high-quality audit process, including preparation of audit schedules and responding to auditor queries
Be a reliable and responsive point of support for the UK holding entity, ensuring any ad hoc operational finance requests are handled accurately and efficiently, with minimal direction required from the Group Senior Finance Manager

Group controls documentation, process improvement recommendations and implementation updates
Ad hoc operational finance support and deliverables for the UK holding entity
System improvement deliverables as part of ERP/consolidation tool enhancements
Areas of Accountability
Month-end close: Driving the day-to-day execution of the Group's month-end close process, including intercompany eliminations, consolidation adjustments and variance analysis
Studio liaison: Acting as the primary operational point of contact for studio finance teams, reviewing their submissions and supporting them with local reporting challenges
Statutory reporting: Drafting Group Financial Statements and Holding entity statutory accounts, ensuring compliance with IFRS and relevant regulatory requirements
Accounting policies: Assisting in the drafting and maintenance of Group-wide accounting policies and procedures to ensure consistency across the Group
Controls & process improvement: Supporting the design, documentation and implementation of Group-wide financial controls, identifying gaps or inefficiencies in existing processes and driving continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen the overall control environment across the Group.
Systems process improvement: Supporting the implementation and optimisation of the Group's consolidation system (ERP/Tagetik), identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and data integrity
Audit support: Preparing audit schedules, responding to auditor queries and supporting the Group Senior Finance Manager in managing the year-end audit process
HQ support: Providing operational finance support to the UK HQ on an ad hoc basis, including assistance with various projects.
Who you are:
Recently qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with 1-2 years post-qualified experience
Experience in group reporting or consolidation, ideally within a multi-entity, multi-currency environment
Solid technical accounting knowledge with working familiarity of IFRS
Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously
A proactive, hands-on approach — comfortable with execution as well as problem-solving
Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise confidently across finance teams and studios
Experience in the gaming or wider interactive entertainment industry is desirable but not essential
Experience with Oracle-based consolidation tools such as Tagetik or similar ERP systems is a bonus
Comfortable operating in a fast-moving, evolving environment where processes are still being built
What can you expect during the Interview Process:
For the Group Financial Accountant role there will be an initial screening call with Jess Pearce, People Partner, followed by 3 stages of interviews:
Stage 1: A competency-based interview with the Ahsan Altaf, Group Senior Finance Manager and Isma Sheikh, HQ Finance Manager, exploring your skills, experience and approach to group reporting, while giving you the opportunity to learn more about the role and team.
Stage 2: (In person if possible) A technical interview including a short case study sent in advance, focused on consolidation, statutory reporting and technical accounting.
Stage 3: A values interview with two people from the broader business, outside of your immediate team, exploring alignment with Kepler's values.
