Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Prepare timely and accurately consolidated financial & management reports (i.e. monthly flash report & dashboard and quarterly board paper)
• Financial planning, analysis and good problem-solving skills
• Work closely with business units finance team to resolve accounting issues and provide technical support on accounting and management reporting matters
• Liaise with local and group auditors on audit to ensure a smooth group audit process
• Liaise with other professional advisors and stakeholders on matters related to financial & management reports
• Administer the Groups ERP comprising the accounting and consolidation systems
• System, process improvements and ad-hoc projects to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
• Provide support for ad-hoc reporting and assist with projects as assigned by Management
• Manage, develop, motivate and supervise a lean group finance team of accountant and account exe
• Conduct annual review of ABAC and sanctions compliance and enterprise risk management

Qualifications:

• CPA, with a professional qualification recognised by ISCA or internationally recognised accounting body ACCA

Experience:

• At least 7 years of relevant experience, of which a minimum of 4-5 years in a supervisory/managerial position in a large company
• Or at least 6 years of experience in Big 4 audit firms

Competency:

• Excellent knowledge of financial statement consolidation and accounting standards (Singapore FRS and IFRS)
• Solid hands-on and review experience in preparing consolidated statutory financial audited financial statements and management reports for a large group
• An excellent team worker with strong analytical, people-management, communication and organisation skills
  
• Independent, resourceful and energetic
• Able to work under pressure to meet tight reporting deadlines
• Familiarity with IBM Cognos Controller and Lawson M3 will be an added advantage
• Proficient in Microsoft excel, Word and PowerPoint
