SCHEDULE Position will work 19 hours/week, generally between 8am-5pm, Monday - Saturday. Flexibility available for academic needs.
NOTE This is a regular year-round part-time position.
The Group Exercise Coordinator is a part-time position responsible for providing a safe and effective exercise environment for Members and Guests through supervision of group exercise programs, completion of contracts for group exercise instructors and a focus on establishing a schedule for group exercise and coordination of the instructors.

The indoor environment provides for a safe and healthy work environment and is smoke and drug free. Occasionally, it may be wet humid, as well as moderately loud. The outdoor work environment may result in exposure to extreme weather conditions such as heat, cold, and humidity.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms. Occasionally standing for long periods of time. Must be able to see, speak, and hear. Regularly required to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 100 pounds with assistance if necessary. When spotting participants lifting heavy weights, trainers will ask for assistance from fellow co-workers if they feel they cannot perform the task alone.
