Mission
We are looking for a candidate to lead the global ERP function within a dynamic and growing distribution group. This role ensures successful management, optimisation, and standardisation of the Microsoft Dynamics Finance and Operations (D365 F&O) ERP platform. The role oversees global ERP teams, regional resources, and external partners, and manages ERP migration and integration of newly acquired entities.


Main accountabilities

  • Lead the global ERP function with responsibility for both corporate and regional teams including functional analysts, development specialists, and outsourced partners.

  • Drive the continuous improvement and optimisation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations across the enterprise.

  • Manage the successful integration and migration of smaller ERP systems from acquired companies into the Group ERP platform.

  • Ensure ERP-related projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget, and aligned with strategic business objectives.

  • Establish governance for ERP changes and enhancements using Agile and DevOps principles.

  • Work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements, prioritise features, and ensure alignment of ERP capabilities with business needs.

  • Oversee vendor and partner performance, ensuring service quality and value delivery.

  • Ensure strong collaboration with other IT and digital functions including BI, applications, and infrastructure.

  • Maintain up-to-date documentation of ERP architecture, integrations, and business processes.

  • Promote ERP best practices, process harmonization, and standardization across regions.


To be senior in this role, you should demonstrate:

  • Expertise in leading global ERP teams and programs across multiple geographies.

  • Proven experience in ERP migrations, especially within post-acquisition integration scenarios.

  • Advanced understanding of D365 F&O architecture and ecosystem.

  • Strong ability to lead change, manage stakeholders, and influence at the executive level.

Experience & education

  • Minimum 5 years in a similar role managing enterprise ERP programs in global organizations.

  • Proven experience leading implementation and integration of Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O.

  • Hands-on experience in managing internal ERP teams and external service partners.

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Business Systems, or related field.

  • Deep understanding of Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O including modules, customisation, and integration.

  • Proficiency with ERP migration and integration strategies.

  • Familiarity with agile frameworks, DevOps tools, and CI/CD pipelines.

  • Strong leadership and stakeholder engagement capabilities.

  • Change management skills in complex and fast-paced environments.

  • Ability to drive global process alignment and transformation initiatives.

  • Experience working in a multinational distribution or manufacturing environment is a plus.

  • Business-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering value through ERP systems.
