WHAT WE OFFER:

As Group Digital E‑Commerce Director, you will be the chef d’orchestre of Lyreco’s digital commerce transformation. A significant foundation has already been built and deployed on some of the countries. This is a project which requires high velocity to continue developing this platform to become the central pillar of our omnichannel strategy and a key driver of commercial performance.

This role requires a leader who can combine strategic vision, technical understanding, and strong commercial impact. You will work closely with the CGO leadership team, CIO organisation, marketing, sales, customer service, and country teams to ensure the platform evolves in line with customer expectations and business priorities.

Key Responsibilities

1. Refine, Challenge, and Deliver Lyreco’s E‑Commerce & Omnichannel Strategy

  • Assess the current platform, identify gaps, and define the evolution roadmap.

  • Challenge existing assumptions, features, and architecture to ensure long‑term scalability and competitiveness.

  • Define business objectives: revenue share by channel, customer activation, conversion, and segment‑specific value creation.

  • Ensure full alignment with Lyreco’s omnichannel strategy, guaranteeing consistency across all touchpoints (sales reps, telesales, mobile, marketplaces, procurement integrations).

  • Translate strategic ambitions into clear product roadmaps and prioritised feature development.

2. Coordinate Cross‑Functional Delivery with CGO Leadership, IT, and All Business Teams

  • Work hand‑in‑hand with the CGO leadership team to ensure the platform supports commercial priorities and customer needs.

  • Partner with CIO and IS teams to ensure seamless integration with ERP, CRM, PIM, DAM, and other core systems.

  • Lead cross‑functional projects such as PIM evolution, order capture optimisation, track‑and‑trace, and customer data synchronisation.

  • Ensure data quality, governance, and reliability across product, pricing, and customer information.

  • Manage external technology partners and vendors, ensuring alignment with Lyreco’s architecture and security standards.

  • Establish strong governance and communication across countries and business units.

3. Optimise and Modernise the Customer Journey and Omnichannel Experience

  • Evaluate existing UX and features, identify improvement areas, and drive continuous optimisation.

  • Develop and deploy advanced B2B capabilities: contract pricing, approval workflows, punchout, replenishment tools, account hierarchies, shared carts, etc.

  • Ensure a frictionless UX across navigation, search, checkout, and account management.

  • Build personalised experiences for corporate accounts and strategic customers.

  • Enable seamless transitions between channels, ensuring customers experience Lyreco as one unified ecosystem.

  • Implement continuous improvement through analytics, VOC, A/B testing, and behavioural insights.

4. Prepare the platform to be ready for the omnichannel strategy of Acquisition, Conversion, and Loyalty (with Marketing & Sales)

  • Prepare the platform to be ready for the marketing colleagues to lead SEO/SEA strategies to maximise qualified traffic.

  • Collaborate with marketing on ABM, inbound, and lifecycle campaigns.

  • Collaborate with CRM and automation teams so that they can build anti‑churn, reactivation, and loyalty initiatives.

  • Monitor funnel performance and optimise conversion across all digital touchpoints through features and UX/UI

  • Ensure collaboration and alignment between marketing, sales, and e‑commerce initiatives to drive sustainable growth.

5. Lead, Manage, and Align Teams

  • Manage and develop the global e‑commerce team (product owners, UX/UI, data, operations).

  • Foster strong collaboration with IS, marketing, commercial, supply chain, and customer service teams.

  • Promote a culture of agility, experimentation, and customer‑centricity.

  • Represent e‑commerce in transformation steering groups.
