Role and Responsibilities:

As part of a temporary replacement, PCM is looking for a Group Consolidation Manager to join our Group Finance team for a period of 12 to 18 months.

Reporting to the Group Finance Director, you will take responsibility for the consolidation of our international subsidiaries and act as a key point of contact for Finance teams across the Group. You will also coordinate a team of five accountants.

A key role within Group Finance:

  • You will manage the Group’s half-year and year-end consolidation process under IFRS, from collecting and reviewing subsidiary data through to preparing the consolidated financial statements and the documentation required for a listed company.
  • You will work closely with Finance teams across our subsidiaries, the Group Finance Director, our external consolidation specialist and the Group’s statutory auditors.

Driving improvement and transformation

As our tools and practices continue to evolve, you will contribute to key Finance projects, including enhancements to reporting processes and tools, implementation of new IFRS standards, process improvements and potential changes to our consolidation software.

You will also monitor developments in IFRS requirements and help ensure that Group financial procedures and best practices remain up to date and are effectively shared across the organisation.

Profile:

Technical expertise is important, but so is your ability to work effectively with others. You enjoy coordinating, explaining, challenging when necessary and supporting teams remotely in an international environment.

You are comfortable with consolidation and reporting tools, have experience managing or contributing to projects, and are able to work professionally in English.
