Main purpose of role:
This role exists to deliver Gamma Group’s Communications strategy to support our strategic plan, meet the needs of key stakeholder groups, particularly employees and investors, and strengthen Gamma’s Brand and reputation.
Key responsibilities:
Internal Communications
• Deliver communications in line with the Group internal communications strategy and calendar, including management of internal events.
• Provide strategic communications advice and executive writing support across the business.
• Lead the annual employee engagement survey with the People team, including analysis and follow up actions.
• Develop messaging and presentations for company updates, key initiatives and relevant industry topics.
• Work with the Chair on the annual Board employee engagement programme, including preparation, feedback and analysis.
• Manage the We Are Gamma intranet and other platforms, sourcing and publishing content, and support delivery of a Group wide intranet.
• Plan and deliver quarterly employee briefings, including annual roadshows, webcasts, videos and Group CEO email communications, with responsibility for budget, logistics, materials and follow up actions.
• Manage the quarterly Values Awards and coordinate the appointment of Values Champions.
• Provide coordination and support to the Group’s You Belong Communities (approx. monthly).
• Use data, technology and employee feedback to identify opportunities to improve the employee experience and engagement.
External Communications
• Manage the Investor Relations section of the Group website, ensuring timely updates for results, the Annual Report, news and video content.
• Produce videos for investor relations, corporate and internal communications, including storyboarding, footage sourcing, agency management and budget oversight. Monitor and assess emerging video formats and trends.
• Work with the team on the Annual Report, including content drafting, image sourcing, mailing lists, auditor queries and proofreading.
• Support results presentations and Capital Markets Days (virtual, in person or international) with the marketing events team.
• Manage shareholder communications, including the investor CMS and maintenance of corporate slide decks.
• Proofread all shareholder communications, including RNS announcements.
Key relationships:
• You’ll develop strong relationships across the business and build a broad network across our UK and European offices.
• Particular relationships with the People and Marketing teams.
Experience and skills:
• Significant experience operating as a Communications or Marketing Manager is preferred, though other backgrounds also considered
• Strong project management skills, able to manage multiple priorities and deliver to deadlines.
• High standards of accuracy, responsiveness and attention to detail.
• Excellent interpersonal and written and verbal communication skills, with confidence engaging at all levels.
• Experience of stakeholder management and/or employee engagement.
• Highly organised and self motivated, with strong planning and follow through.
• Good judgement, able to anticipate needs and plan ahead.
• Strong IT skills and familiarity with a variety of software tools and platforms
• Collaborative and approachable, with discretion in handling confidential information.
• Educated to degree level or equivalent experience
