Group Commercial FP&A Manager

Location: Zug, Switzerland

Role Summary

We are seeking a Group Commercial FP&A Manager to join the Group Financial Planning & Analysis and Controlling team, with a strong focus on commercial performance and forward-looking financial planning.

The role will own the financial consolidation of the Group Mid-Range Plan (MRP) and lead key commercial performance analyses, including brand profitability, Price-Volume-Mix (PVM), and Gross-to-Net (GTN), translating business drivers into actionable financial insights.

The position will also lead Finance initiatives to strengthen sales forecasting capabilities, including AI-enabled sales forecasting, working closely with Commercial, Group Strategy & IR, IT, and Market/Regional Finance.

Key Responsibilities

Mid-Range Plan Financial Consolidation

  • Own the Group financial consolidation of the MRP across regions, brands, and functions.
  • Coordinate planning submissions and ensure consistency of assumptions, methodologies, and timelines.
  • Consolidate and challenge regional and functional plans, identifying key risks, opportunities, and sensitivities.
  • Translate business assumptions into a clear Group financial outlook and provide management with insights into key value drivers.
  • Prepare MRP analyses and management materials for senior leadership, Executive Committee, and Board discussions.
  • Continuously improve the MRP financial model, consolidation process, and supporting tools.

Commercial & Brand Performance Analysis

  • Lead Group-level brand and portfolio profitability analysis.
  • Own and develop PVM analysis across brands, markets, and product categories.
  • Lead GTN analysis, identifying key drivers, risks, and opportunities.
  • Analyse performance versus prior year, budget, forecast, and MRP, translating commercial developments into clear financial insights.

AI-Enabled Sales Forecasting

  • Lead Finance initiatives related to AI-enabled and predictive sales forecasting.
  • Define Finance and business requirements and ensure alignment with Group planning processes.
  • Partner with Commercial, Data & Analytics, IT, and Regional teams to develop and implement forecasting capabilities.
  • Evaluate forecast accuracy and identify opportunities to improve forecasting through advanced analytics, automation, and AI.
  • Drive adoption of new forecasting methodologies and translate analytical outputs into actionable management insights.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Advanced degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 10–15 years of relevant experience in FP&A, Commercial Finance, or Group Finance within a multinational organization.
  • Proven people leadership experience.
  • Strong financial modelling skills and experience with PVM, profitability, GTN, and sales forecasting.
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical industry, preferably with exposure to Injectable Aesthetics and/or Dermatology/Skincare.
  • Advanced Excel skills; experience with SAP, planning systems, BI tools, and advanced analytics/AI is an advantage.
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.

  • Strong focus on simplification, automation, and continuous improvement, including the use of advanced analytics and AI-enabled forecasting.
