VIC - Melbourne - 655 Collins StAs the Group AI Manager, you will play a pivotal role in translating Service Stream’s enterprise AI strategy into real business outcomes. This leadership position focuses on driving transformation, uplifting organisational capability, and enabling enterprise-wide adoption of AI solutions. You will oversee the end to end delivery of AI initiatives - from identifying high value opportunities and building business cases, through to execution, value realisation, and managing change across the organisation.
This is a full-time permanent position, based out of our Collins Street office supporting hybrid working arrangements (3 days in office) and is only open to Australian Citizens.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for AI across the Group, advocating for AI adoption and enabling teams through training, guidance, and capability uplift.
• Own and manage the Group AI roadmap, ensuring initiatives are prioritised, sequenced, and aligned to strategic transformation goals.
• Lead development of robust business cases, defining business problems, recommended AI solutions, and projected commercial returns (ROI).
• Conduct cross-functional discovery workshops to identify AI opportunities and gather requirements for transformation initiatives.
• Establish and track KPIs to measure commercial value, ensuring delivery outcomes meet original business case expectations.
• Enforce Data & AI governance, ethical standards, and security controls across all AI initiatives.
• Provide executive-level reporting on roadmap progress, risks, and delivery performance.
• Oversee the full delivery lifecycle, coordinating internal teams and external partners to ensure quality outcomes.
• Manage third‑party suppliers and strategic partners, ensuring contractual performance and value delivery.
• Champion change adoption, ensuring AI solutions are embedded into business processes and operationalised effectively.
Skills and experience
•Must be an Australian Citizen.
• Significant experience in Data or Digital Transformation, Product Management, or similar transformation and delivery‑focused leadership roles in complex corporate environments.
• Strong stakeholder management and the ability to influence senior management, facilitate workshops, and drive cross‑functional alignment.
• Strong understanding of AI, Machine Learning, and Data Science concepts, with the ability to translate technical capability into business value.
• Proven track record of delivering measurable commercial outcomes through transformation initiatives.
• Demonstrated experience developing high‑quality business cases and investment proposals.
• Experience working within established governance, compliance, and risk frameworks.
• Strong change management capability, with experience driving adoption of new technologies or workflows.
• Excellent communication, analytical thinking, and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively across diverse business units while also operating independently when required.
Qualifications
• Undergraduate degree in Business, Commerce, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (mandatory).
• Certifications in Product Management (CPM, CSPO) and/or Project/Program Management (PRINCE2, PMP, Agile/Scrum) — highly regarded.
• Strong literacy in AI and data concepts, supported by relevant training or professional development.
