Job Description

• Group Financial Reporting Oversee the preparation and consolidation of financial statements for the group, ensuring compliance with Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
• Bursa Malaysia Compliance Manage all reporting obligations to Bursa Malaysia, ensuring timely submission of quarterly and annual reports, as well as compliance with all regulatory requirements.
• Financial Analysis Perform in-depth financial analysis and provide insights on the groups financial performance, identifying trends and variances for management reporting.
• Budgeting and Forecasting Lead the annual budgeting process and ongoing forecasting activities, collaborating with subsidiary finance teams to consolidate budgets and forecasts.
• Audit Coordination Liaise with external auditors to facilitate the annual audit process, ensuring that all necessary documentation is prepared and available for review.
• Internal Controls Develop and implement internal controls to ensure the integrity of financial reporting and safeguard group assets.
• Stakeholder Engagement Work closely with senior management, finance teams, and other departments to support strategic initiatives and drive financial performance across the group.

Job Requirements:

• Educational Qualification Diploma/Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional qualifications (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CA) are preferred.
• Experience Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting, with at least 3 years in a group accounting or consolidation role within a public listed company, preferably in the property development sector.
• Consolidation Expertise Strong knowledge of consolidation processes and experience in managing group financial reporting.
• Bursa Reporting Knowledge Familiarity with Bursa Malaysias reporting requirements and regulatory framework.
• Analytical Skills Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
• Attention to Detail Strong attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy in financial reporting.
• Communication Skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively present financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
