Job Description

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Always follow and help enforce safe practices and rules.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and procedures at all times, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), adherence to industry safety standards, and participation in safety training programs.
  • Provide direct assistance to the crew during tree care operations, including pruning, trimming, and tree removal.
  • Operate equipment such as gas-powered chain saws, pole saws, and brush chippers in a safe, efficient, and effective manner while minimizing all risks to job site personnel, the public, and property.
  • Assist in the removal and disposal of tree debris, branches, and wood chips generated during tree care operations, ensuring the site is left clean and orderly.
  • Maintain clear and effective communication with team members to ensure coordinated and efficient workflow.
  • Interact professionally with clients and property owners, addressing their questions, concerns, and requests with courtesy and respect.

Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in landscaping, arboriculture, or related field preferred but not required.
  • Commercial Drivers License (CDL) Preferred but not required.
  • Knowledge of basic mechanical repair is a plus.
  • Must possess and maintain a Valid driver’s license.

Work authorization requirements:

Must meet I-9 requirements.
