To continue delivering on this commitment, we’re looking for two dedicated Grounds Workers to join our Auckland Horticulture team!
Our Grounds Workers are versatile and skilled professionals who handle a wide range of tasks. From planting to weed eating, our Grounds Workers do it all! Here's a glimpse of what your day-to-day activities might include:
🌿 Maintaining both soft and hard landscaping areas
🌿 Pruning, planting, flax cutting and general garden care
🌿 Hedge trimming, weed eating and edging
🌿 Spraying herbicides and manually removing/picking of weeds and pest plants
While practical experience in horticulture is ideal, it's not a must. If you have a great work ethic and a passion for working outdoors, you could be the perfect fit! Here are some qualities we value:
🌿 A current, full Class 1 driver’s licence with the ability to drive a manual
🌿 A good level of fitness, as the role can be physically demanding
🌿 A team player with a positive attitude who naturally helps out teammates
🌿 Excellent relationship-building and communication skills
🌿 High motivation and a strong desire to get the job done
🌿 The ability to use a smartphone and other technology is advantageous
