Job Description

The supervisor manages daily maintenance operations, including groundskeeping, equipment upkeep, plumbing, electrical systems, and general repairs. They coordinate and schedule maintenance tasks, respond to urgent issues, and ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.

Additionally, the role involves supervising maintenance staff and contractors, monitoring work quality, managing supplies and budgets, and contributing to continuous improvements across the park. The Maintenance Supervisor plays a key role in enhancing guest satisfaction by maintaining high standards of facility functionality and appearance

The Role

Key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Perform daily tasks to ensure park remains clean, tidy and well presented.
  • Maintain condition and cleanliness of park facilities, including amenities, camp kitchen and play areas.
  • Perform general grounds upkeep, including landscaping, mowing, and litter removal
  • Schedule and complete repairs and routine maintenance tasks on park accommodation and facilities.
  • Support the grounds and maintenance team with training and development.
  • Conduct regular inspections of facilities to ensure they meet condition and cleanliness standards.
  • Manage, maintain and oversee the use of park equipment and tools.
  • Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff.
  • Respond to guest requests promptly and professionally.

What we look for

  • Trade qualified in labouring or carpentry is ideal
  • Previous experience in supervisory or leading hand roles
  • Previous experience in grounds keeping
  • Advanced skills in building and grounds maintenance tasks
  • Attention to detail to ensure the safety, and aesthetic appeal of the property
  • Ability to safely operate groundskeeping equipment and power tools
  • Excellent time management skills and flexibility to work over a 7 day roster
  • Pool maintenance experience would be advantageous
  • A current valid driver’s licence is essential.

Prior to an offer of employment being made, candidates must provide a Federal Police Clearance.

This role may involve extensive manual handling tasks including lifting up to 20kg kneeling and squatting, as well as handling chemicals and utilising machinery.
