The park features a range of accommodation options including powered caravan and camping sites, cabins and villas, all designed to provide a comfortable and enjoyable stay for holidaymakers and travellers exploring the Bunbury Geographe region.

We are currently seeking a Casual Grounds & Maintenance Officer to join our team.

ABOUT THE ROLE

This is a hands-on role responsible for maintaining the presentation, safety and functionality of the park grounds, accommodation and facilities. The position involves physically demanding work, including regular manual handling and lifting, as well as the safe and competent use of power tools and maintenance equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• General grounds maintenance, gardening and landscaping
• Lawn mowing, edging, trimming and vegetation management
• Operation of maintenance equipment and power tools
• Upkeep of park facilities, amenities and common areas
• Assisting with minor repairs and maintenance tasks as directed by the Park Manager
• Maintaining a clean, safe and welcoming environment for guests and residents
• Supporting overall presentation standards across the park
• Assisting with seasonal projects and general park improvements

Requirements

• Previous experience in grounds and property maintenance (hospitality, tourism, caravan park or similar environment preferred but not essential)
• Current Driver's Licence
• Ability to perform manual tasks, including lifting, carrying and repetitive physical activities
• Demonstrated ability to safely use power tools and maintenance equipment
• A positive, guest-focused attitude and willingness to work as part of a team

You will be competent in the use of equipment such as:

• Ride-on mowers
• Hedge trimmers
• Whipper snippers
• Chainsaws
• High-powered hand tools

Remuneration

The rate of pay for this role will be in accordance with the Hospitality Industry (General) Award.
