
🌿 Groundskeeper / Landscaping Technician | $20–$22/hr | Full-Time | Day Shift
📍 Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Chimes is a mission-driven nonprofit supporting individuals with intellectual and behavioral challenges. We’re looking for a reliable, hands-on Groundskeeper to help maintain safe, clean, and welcoming outdoor spaces.
Maintain lawns, landscaping, and outdoor areas (mowing, trimming, cleanup)
Plant, water, and prune shrubs, trees, and flowers
Support seasonal work (snow removal, salting walkways)
Perform basic repairs (fences, benches, gates, small structures)
Operate and maintain equipment safely
Respond to urgent maintenance issues (hazards, debris, storm damage)
Follow all safety, uniform, and security protocols
Punctual attendance for all shifts and emergency weather events
Experience operating commercial mowers, skid steers, and trucks with trailers
Ability to perform physical labor in all weather conditions
Strong safety mindset and equipment care practices
Knowledge of horticulture and turf maintenance
Valid driver’s license (minimum 3 years, acceptable driving record)
Preferred:
High school diploma or GED
6+ months landscaping/grounds experience (training available)
Lift/push/pull up to 75 lbs
Stand, walk, bend, kneel, and work on uneven terrain
Work outdoors in varying weather conditions
Work at heights up to 12 feet (ladders/lifts/scaffolding)
This is an essential position You may be required to report to or remain on-site during emergencies to support operations and safety.
