• We are hiring immediately for a full time GROUNDS II MECHANIC position.
• Location TAMU CC Gr - 6300 Ocean Drive, Corpus Christi, TX 78412. (Openings at other locations within school district available) Note: online applications accepted only
• Schedule Full time schedule; Monday through Friday, 6:00 am to 2:30 pm. More details upon interview. (Full and Part Time with the flexibility to meet most scheduling needs)
• Requirement Prior experience with small vehicle repair, lawn equipment, golf cart, and heavy equipment repair is required.
• Pay Range: $15.50 per hour to $16.50 per hour.

Repairs and performs preventative maintenance on all types of landscape
equipment and vehicles in and around the maintenance shop yard.

Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:

• Manages inspection and repair work order system.
• Maintains repair and maintenance records for all company equipment, vehicles, trailers and tools.
• Ensures that all vehicles, trailer and equipment inspection reports are completed according to the Company
  policy and all applicable federal/state/local requirements.
• Schedules repairs and preventative maintenance though the existing work order system.
• Coordinates with shop manager to prioritize projects.
• Coordinates with shop manager to complete periodic yard and asset inspections to ensure cleanliness and
  compliance in shop and yard.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Five years of experience in mechanical repair of landscape related equipment with emphasis on managing multiple
  technicians.

Working Conditions:

• Exposure to: strenuous labor for extended periods of time, heavy equipment, hazardous construction zones and
  work sites, extreme weather conditions, paint and petroleum products. Work time expectation, 90% of time will be
  physical labor, 10% training and misc.
