Job Description

Are you passionate about turning complex commercial and financial data into strategic business decisions? Do you thrive at the intersection of pricing, profitability, forecasting and business partnering? Join Novo Nordisk Romania as our new GTN & Profitability Manager and play a key role in shaping commercial performance, driving sustainable profitability, and supporting strategic decision-making across the business.

Your new role

As GTN & Profitability Manager, you will be a trusted business partner to cross-functional stakeholders, helping to optimise revenue, profitability and investment decisions across the portfolio. This is a highly visible role where you will combine financial expertise, strategic thinking and analytical capabilities to influence commercial outcomes and drive business value.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading and supporting Gross-to-Net (GTN) forecasting, planning activities and pricing business cases across current and future product portfolios.
  • Providing profitability insights through Account P&L analyses, identifying value creation opportunities and supporting resource allocation decisions.
  • Driving operational pricing and commercial financial assessments to maximise business opportunities while ensuring sustainable profitability.
  • Supporting Total Operating Cost (TOC) planning processes, including Anchor Budget (AB), Rolling Estimates (RE), cost controlling and financial follow-up.
  • Enhancing GTN transparency, reporting capabilities and analytics by evaluating data models, improving forecasting methodologies and introducing new insights.

Beyond core responsibilities, you will contribute to ad hoc projects and business-critical analyses, continuously seeking opportunities to improve processes, strengthen controls and provide actionable recommendations to stakeholders across the organisation.

Your new department

You will join the Finance & Operations organisation in Romania and report directly to the Associate Finance & Operations Director. The role works closely with Sales, Marketing & Strategy, External Affairs, Market Access & Reimbursement, Supply Chain, Accounting and Business Finance teams. Together, these teams are focused on enabling commercial success while ensuring strong financial stewardship, operational excellence and sustainable long-term growth.

Your skills and qualifications

To succeed in this role, we imagine that you combine strong commercial finance capabilities with a proactive and collaborative mindset. You are comfortable navigating complex business challenges, translating data into insights and influencing decision-making across functions.

We are looking for a candidate who has:

  • A degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Engineering, Statistics, Econometrics or another analytical discipline.
  • Minimum 6 years of relevant experience within FP&A, Commercial Finance, Pricing, Revenue Management, Business Partnering or related fields. Experience in the pharmaceutical, consumer health and / or FMCG industries will be an advantage.
  • Strong understanding of pricing methodologies, gross-to-net dynamics, profitability management and financial forecasting.
  • Advanced analytical capabilities, including strong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills, with experience using BI and data visualisation tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Qlik or similar platforms considered an advantage.
  • Fluency in English is required and Romanian is a great advantage

As a person, you demonstrate curiosity, adaptability and a continuous improvement mindset, with the confidence to challenge existing approaches and drive better ways of working. You have excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate complex analyses into clear and actionable business recommendations.
