Grocery Freight Clerk
We’re looking for a dedicated and reliable Grocery Freight Clerk to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for stocking, pricing, organizing, and supporting the daily operations of the grocery department.

What We Need from Our Grocery Freight Clerk
- Relevant Professional
Experience: At least six months of related grocery, retail, or stocking experience
- Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse group of coworkers and leadership
- Dependability: Consistent attendance, punctuality, and responsible use of work time, with flexibility to work varying schedules and communicate changes appropriately
- Strong Communication Skills: Ability to receive, process, and share information clearly and effectively
- Multitasking Ability: Capacity to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities efficiently
- Language Skills: Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
Qualifications
Required Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Required
Experience:
- Minimum of 6 months’ experience in a grocery, retail, or similar environment.
- Demonstrated experience stocking and rotating merchandise.
- Experience operating pallet jacks or other material-handling equipment (preferred).
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to consistently lift, carry, and move items weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Capacity to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy, product quality, and proper rotation.
- Clear communication and effective interpersonal skills.
- Basic math skills for counting, stocking, and inventory support.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and comply with safety procedures.
- Flexibility to work varying schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Typical schedule Monday-Friday 4am-12am.
- Knowledge of food safety and proper handling practices (preferred).
