Wausau Tile is seeking a hardworking, safety-conscious individual to operate terrazzo grinding machinery. This role includes machine setup, operation, and basic maintenance to ensure consistent, high-quality tile production. Candidates should be mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
Review schedules and verify machine setup; perform daily startup procedures.
Operate interconnected grinding equipment and support machines (e.g., pallet trolleys, face grinders, ovens, UV systems, polishers, forklifts).
Monitor and adjust pneumatic, water, and chemical feeds during production.
Maintain consistent product quality and perform preventative maintenance as needed.
Physical Requirements:
Frequent standing, bending, lifting (up to 50 lbs), and repetitive motion.
Use of ladders and stairs; exposure to manufacturing environment conditions.
