Job Title: Grinder Operator

Location: Based out of Elk Point, with work in surrounding areas
J. Post Haulage is seeking an experienced Grinder Operator to operate a grinder throughout the region. This is a hands-on role ideal for an operator who is confident working independently, managing multiple tasks on site, and maintaining a strong focus on safety.
Primary Responsibilities:
Operate a grinder safely and efficiently
Conduct daily equipment inspections and perform basic maintenance
Complete mulching and land-clearing work as directed
Assist with other site tasks as required
Work independently while communicating effectively with supervisors and crew
Follow all company safety policies and procedures

Bonnyville
Cold Lake
Elk Point
Smoky Lake
St. Paul
Employees report to the shop in Elk Point each morning.
Required Qualifications:
Valid Class 5 driver’s license
Heavy Equipment Operator (HEO) experience
Experience operating grinders
Excavator experience considered a strong asset
Ability to multitask and adapt to changing site conditions
Strong work ethic with a safety-first mindset
Preferred (Not Required):
Previous site supervisor or lead hand experience
