The Opportunity
Join Hitachi Energy as an Area Sales Manager (Remote and Hybrid eligible) and become a key driver of growth in your assigned region. In this role, you’ll support the sales organization and customers throughout the entire sales process, ensuring exceptional experiences and impactful results. You’ll influence customer specifications, promote innovative solutions, and help shape the energy landscape of tomorrow.
Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures and guidelines.
How You’ll Make an Impact
Support the sales organization to increase new and existing business.
Promote Hitachi Energy products through webinars, seminars, and presentations.
Influence customer specifications and provide expert product knowledge.
Collaborate on sales plans with FES, REPS, and account teams.
Analyze customer needs and competitor offerings to identify opportunities.
Prepare offers with technical and financial accuracy in coordination with bid teams.
Communicate value propositions and competitive insights to stakeholders.
Report monthly sales activities and propose recovery plans when needed.
Your Background
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field.
5+ years of experience in sales or business development.
Strong understanding of market analysis and competitor benchmarking.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Ability to manage bids, proposals, and administrative sales processes.
Proficiency in CRM tools and MS Office applications.
