YOUR TASKS

  • Develop and implement software solutions in SCADA and control systems and provide after-sales support for operational issues;
  • Execute software updates, integrate new functionalities, and ensure compatibility with existing operational technology systems;
  • Analyse national and international grid codes and translate requirements into technical specifications for design, control, and testing;
  • Coordinate certification processes and ensure compliance with standards such as ENTSO-E, FGW, IEC, or BDEW;
  • Perform system testing, validation, and performance evaluation using simulations, test data, and field measurements;
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and support projects in achieving grid-compliant system integration;
  • Contribute to root cause analysis of technical issues and drive continuous improvement for SCADA and control systems;

YOUR TEAM IS IMPORTANT BECAUSE

As a Grid Code Engineer, you play a key role in ensuring grid conformity and advancing SCADA and control systems for renewable energy systems. You work closely with international teams and external stakeholders to translate regulatory requirements into technical solutions. Your contribution ensures reliable grid integration and safe operation of modern energy systems.

YOUR PROFILE

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, Automation, or a comparable qualification;
  • Experience in grid compliance, grid integration, or power systems analysis, preferably within renewable energy;
  • Practical experience with SCADA systems, PLC/control technology, and industrial automation;
  • Experience with simulation tools such as PSCAD, DIgSILENT PowerFactory, or MATLAB/Simulink;
  • Solid knowledge of international grid codes, certification processes, and medium-voltage technology
  • Basic understanding of IT networks and communication protocols such as Profinet or Modbus TCP
  • Proficiency in English — we’re not expecting Shakespeare, but you should feel comfortable speaking in interviews and daily meetings with international colleague
