The team works across product, engineering, data, and applied machine learning to build experiences around Talent Matching, Talent Rediscovery, search, ranking, and relevance.
You'll collaborate with a distributed team and work closely with Product, Design, Data, and Applied ML partners to build and improve experiences that help employers discover relevant candidates.
We're seeking a Software Engineer to support the development and maintenance of Greenhouse's web-based applications as part of an approximately 12-month engagement.
In this role, you'll contribute to Talent Matching, Talent Rediscovery, and related employer-facing experiences. You'll work across the stack to build product capabilities and the search and matching systems behind them, with a particular focus on OpenSearch or Elasticsearch and practical applications of AI to matching, ranking, and search relevance.
This is a collaborative, execution-focused engagement. You'll spend the majority of your time in the code, building features, fixing bugs, and ensuring our products remain stable and performant for users.
This is an independent contractor engagement in Argentina. Deel will serve as Contractor of Record and will contract with and pay the independent contractor. The independent contractor will provide services to Greenhouse on a non-exclusive basis, may provide services to other clients, and will be responsible for determining the manner and means of performing the services, subject to the applicable statement of work and agreed deliverables.
