Job Description

1. Instructors will be required to assist in competitive field show design, instructional planning, and instruction of performing members
2. Expertise in battery percussion instruments and instruction
3. Instructors must be able to work as part of a group and independently in carrying out the instruction plan in one-on-one and group settings with performers

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

1. Experience working with middle and/or high school students preferred
2. Instructors must be organized, detail oriented and professional
3. Instructors are expected to attend all rehearsals and performances
4. Instructors with less availability may have salary adjusted accordingly
5. All new employees must be fingerprinted and cleared for employment through the NYS Education Department before employment begins. The new employee is responsible for fingerprinting fees of $100.25.

TIME: Evening rehearsals (2x per week), some Saturdays, and performance dates as scheduled � exact times TBD

DATES: July 1, 2018� June 30, 2019

SITE: District Office/Arcadia High School

SALARY: $ Annual Stipend ($ paid each semester)
