Position:

Lead Teacher - Great Start Readiness Program (GSRP)

Qualifications:

• Must have one of the following:
• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution in early childhood education, OR
• Current Michigan Teaching Certificate with Early Childhood endorsement (ZA/ZS).
• Must meet all requirements established by the Michigan Department of Human Services.
• Must be able to pass a fingerprint background check with MSP, a background check with LARA, and pass a TB Test.
• Early Childhood experience, preferred.
• Work effectively, make decisions, and problem-solve collaboratively within a team.
• Evidence of ability, leadership, initiative, and creativity.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and teachers.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Responsible for all instruction and activities associated with the Great Start Readiness Program.
• Ensure constant communication among staff and parents.
• Responsible for networking with other agencies.
• Complete all necessary paperwork associated with grant.
• Coordination of parent involvement.
• Facilitate effective methods of communication with parents and community.
• Perform all other related duties and documentation requirements as assigned.

Compensation:

Commensurate with experience (EduStaff)
