Under supervision, you will perform a range of functions, covering multiple pharmacy locations, units or other settings. Your duties include the preparation and dispensing of drugs in all inpatient settings; review and verification of medication orders and patient medical records; optimizing safe medication therapy; review of patient medication profiles; counseling patients on appropriate drug use; interacting and/or rounding with other health professionals to help provide safe and effective use of medications; provision of advanced clinical services (e.g., pharmacokinetic dosing, therapeutic interchange, IV/PO conversions, TPN and aminoglycoside monitoring, pharmacist interventions, anticoagulation ) to neonatal, pediatric and adult patients according to departmental policy and procedures, with possible focus on pharmacy specialty (i.e., oncology, pediatrics, geriatrics, ambulatory care); oversee dispensing, return and waste of controlled substances on assigned shift/unit. Initiate, innovate and complete clinical, operational and/or management projects, in collaboration with Pharmacy Management. You will work in assigned centralized and decentralized Pharmacy areas and patient care units.

Hourly Salary Range: $96.13 - $119.50 (Union represented, step based salary depending on years of experience)
