CDL-A GRAVEL TRAIN / DOUBLES DRIVER — NEWPORT, MI

$25–$28/Hour DOE | $1,000 Sign-On Bonus | Home Daily | 4 Openings

DHT Group is hiring FOUR experienced Gravel Train / Doubles Drivers for our Newport, Michigan operation.

If you have gravel train experience and want a local CDL-A position that gets you home every day, we want to talk to you.

This is a full-time position paying $25–$28 per hour, depending on qualifications, with a $1,000 sign-on bonus.

WHAT YOU NEED

Qualified applicants must have:

• Valid CDL-A
• T endorsement
• Valid DOT medical card
• Acceptable driving record
• Minimum 1 year of verifiable CDL-A driving experience
• Minimum 6 months of gravel train experience
• Ability to meet DOT physical and drug/alcohol screening requirements
• Ability to lift at least 25 lbs.

6+ months of dump experience preferred.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

As a DHT Gravel Train / Doubles Driver, you will:

• Safely operate gravel train / doubles equipment
• Perform required pre-trip, enroute, and post-trip inspections
• Couple and uncouple trailers
• Connect and inspect air and electrical lines
• Monitor load weight and proper load distribution
• Maintain required DOT logs and documentation
• Comply with applicable weigh-station requirements
• Communicate professionally with dispatch, customers, and coworkers
• Maintain DHT safety, equipment, and compliance standards

Requirements

• Acceptable driving record
• Valid Med card
• CDLA
• T endorsement
• At least one year of verifiable CDLA truck driving experience
• At least 6 months of gravel train experience

Preferred Requirements

• At least 6 months of dump experience

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift a minimum of 25 pounds
• Must be able to pass a drug and alcohol screen
• Must be able to pass a DOT physical
