Brand new opening | Doors open August 2026 | Start mid‑July
Part‑time | A mix of peak & off‑peak shifts (yes, some weekends!)

We’re opening a brand new Grass Hoppers, and we’re looking for a Kitchen Lead to help us launch in style.

👩‍🍳👨‍🍳 So, what’s the job?

As our Kitchen Lead, you’ll be the go‑to person in the kitchen – keeping things running smoothly, motivating the team, and making sure every dish going out the door is something to shout about.

You’ll work closely with the Grass Hoppers Manager, lead from the front, and help create a positive, high‑energy kitchen where people love to work.

• Leading the kitchen team with confidence, positivity and a smile
• Jumping on the line when it’s busy and setting the standard every shift
• Training, coaching and supporting the team to be their best
• Making sure food quality, consistency and presentation are always spot on
• Keeping food safety, hygiene and Health & Safety watertight
• Organising stock, deliveries and reducing waste (because waste isn’t cool)
• Helping with rotas, staffing and day‑to‑day kitchen organisation
• Sharing ideas to make things better, slicker and more fun

✅ What we’re looking for

• Experience in a kitchen leadership or senior team role
• A solid understanding of food safety and kitchen standards
• A natural people‑person who enjoys leading and developing others
• Someone calm under pressure who thrives in a fast‑paced environment
• Flexible availability across peak and off‑peak shifts, including some weekends
• A great attitude – energy, teamwork and positivity are key
