The primary responsibility of this role will be to perform various auxiliary processes within the logos department. The Graphics Tufting Utility will be responsible for backing coating, backing removal, backing affixing, and turf shearing processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tufting operations, strong computer skills, a keen eye for detail, and possess moderate mechanical aptitude.
Night Shift
Essential Functions:
Operate coating equipment and turf shearing equipment according to design specifications and customer requirements.
Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet established standards and specifications.
Perform various mending operations on turf when necessary.
Troubleshoot and resolve any equipment malfunctions or issues that may arise during the production process.
Perform routine maintenance on coating and turf shearing equipment including cleaning, lubricating, and replacing mechanical wear parts.
Collaborate with the Graphic Tufting Operator to understand the specific requirements and expectations for each graphic design project.
Maintain accurate production records, including machine settings, production output, and any quality issues or concerns.
Crosstrain on Graphics Tufting Operator duties to fill in for absenteeism or vacancies as necessary.
Maintain accurate inventory records for material allocation and consumption.
Follow all safety protocols and adhere to company policies and procedures to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
Perform other job-related duties as assigned by Supervision and or Management
Must be able to lift 25 lbs. without assistance or 50 lbs with another employee.
Ability to perform repetitive movements and remain on feet for extended periods of time.
Education:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred but not required; or one to three years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
