THE ROLE:

As a Graphics & AI Processor Design Engineer, you will work with GPU architects and design next generation graphics and AI technology.

THE PERSON:

You have a passion for computer processor architecture and digital design. You are a team player who has excellent communication skills. You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills and are willing to learn and ready to take on problems.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Design command processor, the front-end of the GPU pipeline, for next-generation GPU and AI engine
  • Work with architects to implement logic with high performance, lower power, and meet timing requirements
  • Coordinate with verification engineer to improve the code and functional coverages
  • Conduct design rule checks to finish tape-out sign-off, including LINT, CDC etc.
  • Help post-silicon team to debug silicon issues when needed

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Project level experience with design concepts
  • Experience or familiarity with EDA tools and/or functional verification tools by VCS, Cadence, Mentor Graphics
  • Good understanding of computer organization/architecture
  • Graphics and AI knowledge is preferred
  • Prior experience in design lead role is advantageous

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

  • Undergrad degree required. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer engineering/Electrical Engineering
  • Multiple years related ASIC design experience
