Job Description

Artemis is seeking a Graphic Designer/Multimedia Specialist to produce professional, high-quality graphics and multimedia that support communications and outreach—including websites, videos, presentations, documents, brochures, events, and branding—for a large-scale stakeholder engagement contract. This role translates program messaging into compelling, accessible visual assets.

The Graphic Designer/Multimedia Specialist is a self-starter, proactive problem-solver, and action-oriented team player with strong visual design and multimedia production skills. This position requires an individual committed to superior client service, poised under pressure, with a positive and flexible attitude.

This is a contingent hire position.

Offers will be contingent upon client approval, ability to meet security requirements, and the ability to adhere to any on-site requirements (which may change at contract award).

Remote work is anticipated. However, occasional travel for client engagements may be required.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Provide professional, artistic, high-quality graphics, publication designs, and multimedia to support outreach efforts, including websites, videos, presentations, documents, brochures, events, and branding.
  • Contribute to communications products such as case studies, infographics, promotional materials, and briefing decks.
  • Produce and edit visual and multimedia content consistent with client branding, messaging, and digital strategies.
  • Ensure designed products conform to Section 508 accessibility requirements.
  • Collaborate with the communications team to translate key messages into compelling visual assets.
  • Support event, web, and social media visual needs as required.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of graphic design and multimedia production experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud.
  • Portfolio demonstrating federal or public-sector work required.
  • Familiarity with Section 508 accessibility standards preferred.
  • Experience supporting complex projects and transformation efforts within the federal government.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DHS suitability/public trust determination.
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S.

Desired Qualifications

  • Strong critical thinking, analytical and time management skills.
  • Proven ability to organize, prioritize and work well with others.
  • Ability to communicate thoughts, ideas and solutions logically both written and orally.
  • Ability to stay calm under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to receive feedback from clients and implement changes quickly and effectively.
  • Ability to get up to speed quickly on complex issues.
  • Desire to work in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving environment.
