Job Description

The Graphic Designer, Partnerships & Revenue will gain hands on experience in partnership visual storytelling, presentation design, brand integration, sports marketing, and cross-functional creative collaboration. This is an opportunity to build a creative career in professional sports while contributing work that reaches partners, fans, and the matchday experience

Reporting to the Creative Director and serves as a liaison between the Partnerships and Marketing creative teams, the graphic designer will help bring partnership opportunities, ticketing initiatives, and operational needs to life while maintaining Nashville SC brand standards. The role will also provide photography support at matches, events, and activations as needed.

Responsibilities

Corporate Partnerships and Ticketing Support

  • Create compelling sales presentations, pitch decks, renewal materials, PowerPoint templates, and visual mockups that support partnership and ticketing revenue efforts.
  • Translate outlined partner, prospect, and internal stakeholder concepts into clear, polished visual storytelling.
  • Develop branded partnership assets, including proposed activations, sponsored spaces, signage, social and email graphics, digital content, and in-game visuals.
  • Design sales collateral for existing and future products, spaces, tickets, and other revenue-generating opportunities.
  • Maintain thoughtful visual hierarchy when integrating partner brands with Nashville SC branding.
  • Support partnership fulfillment through sponsorship assets, mock advertisements, presentations, signage, and activation materials.

Operations and Event Support

  • Assist the Partnership Marketing, Ticketing, and Operations teams with design-related assignments.
  • Support Operations with design needs for matchdays, events, special activations, wayfinding, large-format graphics, and other event-facing materials.
  • Prepare print-ready and digital files that meet production specifications and quality standards.
  • Design assets for LED ribbons, virtual signage, stadium displays, and other in-venue systems as assigned.
  • Provide photography coverage for matches, events, activations, and internal needs when required.
  • Organize, store, and archive design files and photography assets for efficient team use.

Marketing and Brand Support

  • Assist the Marketing team with campaigns, promotions, theme nights, match graphics, social media, web, email, advertising, giveaways, and physical signage when capacity allows.
  • Contribute original ideas during creative brainstorming and help keep work current, relevant, and aligned with fan and industry trends.
  • Support the Creative Director and Marketing Designers in maintaining and evolving Nashville SC brand standards.
  • Respond to creative requests from internal departments and manage several assignments within a deadline-driven environment

Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of professional design experience.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating presentation design, branding, digital graphics, layout, and visual storytelling.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint; experience with Canva and Adobe Express is a plus.
  • Familiarity with motion graphics is a plus.
  • Experience in sports, live events, partnership marketing, or ticketing is preferred.
  • Photography experience, particularly sports or events, is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of typography, composition, brand standards, and design for both digital and print environments.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize competing deadlines, and maintain close attention to detail.
  • Comfortable receiving creative direction, incorporating feedback, and working collaboratively across departments.
  • Clear communicator who can build productive relationships with Marketing, Partnerships, Ticketing, and Operations colleagues.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment and works well as part of a collaborative team.
  • Self-motivated and able to create polished partner mockups from outlined concepts.
  • Available to work select evenings, weekends, and matchdays as needed.

Nashville SC joined Major League Soccer on Feb. 29, 2020 in front of the largest attendance ever recorded for a soccer match in the state of Tennessee. In its inaugural MLS season, Nashville SC defied expectations by becoming the second MLS expansion side to win and advance to the Conference Semifinals in the 2020 Audi MLS Cup Playoffs. Nashville SC returned to the Audi MLS Cup Playoffs in its sophomore season after becoming just the seventh team in MLS history to go unbeaten at home in a season. Nashville SC inaugurated GEODIS Park, the largest soccer-specific stadium in the United States and Canada, in front of a sellout crowd of 30,109 on May 1, 2022.
