The Perth Bears are making history as the newest NRL club, joining the competition in 2027. We’re more than a sporting team, we’re building a movement that will unite fans, inspire young athletes, and create opportunities across Western Australia. By joining the Bears, you’ll play an important role in bringing our vision to life and creating something truly special for our members, partners, and community.
Help create the look of a new era in rugby league. We’re seeking a creative, hands-on Graphic Designer to bring the Perth Bears’ brand to life across digital, print, campaigns, match days and club experiences.
Based in Perth, this full time role reports to the Creative & Content Manager. You’ll turn creative briefs into distinctive, consistent design that connects with supporters and supports teams across the club. From player announcements and membership campaigns to stadium screens and animated social content, your work will help shape how fans experience the Bears as we prepare for our inaugural NRL season in 2027.
Why Join Us?
This is an opportunity to help shape the visual identity of a new NRL club from the ground up. Your designs will connect with supporters across social feeds, campaigns, print and stadium screens, helping bring the Perth Bears’ story to life.
You’ll be part of an ambitious, collaborative team where ideas are valued and creativity is encouraged. Working closely with the Creative & Content Manager, you’ll contribute to the club’s evolving visual identity and help build a connection with our members, partners and community ahead of our inaugural season and beyond.
The Perth Bears are a start-up organisation in a critical foundation phase. Like other roles recruited to date, this position is intentionally hands-on and will initially operate with lean support structures.
Working under the direction of the Creative & Content Manager, you’ll contribute ideas and deliver the day-to-day design work that brings them to life. You’ll help establish practical templates, file management and production processes, build relationships across the club and with suppliers, and adapt as priorities evolve.
Success in this role requires comfort with ambiguity, accountability for your work, and a calm, organised approach to balancing creative thinking with hands-on delivery.
