Job Description

Cavco Industries is one of the largest manufactured and modular home producers in the United States, and our brand is how families first meet us. We are looking for a Graphic Designer to join our in-house creative team in Plano, TX and help bring our brand to life across everything we make.

Reporting to the Creative Director, you will design polished, brand-consistent work across print and digital for both our homebuyer audiences and our dealer and retail partners. This is a hands-on role for a designer who takes real pride in craft and flawless execution, and who loves turning campaigns, product launches, and brand ideas into work that is unmistakably ours.

What You'll Do

  • Design across print and digital: Create brochures, flyers, sell sheets, banners, signage, large-format graphics, digital ads, email, social and web assets for our master brand and product lines.
  • Protect the brand: Apply our brand standards with precision, keeping color, typography and logo usage consistent on every deliverable.
  • Prepare production-ready files: Build clean layouts and production art in InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator to prep print-ready and digital-ready files to spec.
  • Support dealer and event creative: Design booth graphics, show guides and point-of-sale materials that help our national network represent the brand in the field.
  • Adapt across channels: Resize and reformat creative for different platforms and audiences while keeping the work on brand.
  • Collaborate: Partner with the Creative Director, Brand Manager and fellow designers to deliver campaigns and initiatives on schedule.
  • Stay current: Bring fresh ideas and new tools, including AI-assisted creative tools, to keep raising the quality and speed of our work.

What You'll Bring

  • 3-5 years of professional graphic design experience, ideally on an in-house, brand, or agency team.
  • A portfolio that shows strong print and digital design work (required for consideration).
  • Proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator.
  • A strong command of layout, typography, color and composition.
  • Experience preparing print-ready files and working with print and production vendors.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and a real commitment to brand consistency and quality.
  • Strong organization and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines at once.
  • Clear communication, a collaborative spirit and the ability to take and apply feedback.
  • A degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Fine Arts, or a related field is preferred but not required with relevant experience.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in home building, manufactured housing, real estate, or a related industry.
  • Familiarity with Premiere Pro, After Effects, or Lightroom for light photo and video support.
  • Motion graphics, animation, or photography and retouching skills.
  • Experience with AI-assisted creative tools such as Adobe Firefly.
  • Experience designing for trade shows, events, or large-format graphics.
  • Adobe Certified Professional (ACP) credential.
