Keep Left is looking for an AI-fluent Graphic Designer to join our Melbourne creative team.

This is a great opportunity for a designer who wants to work across campaigns, social, content and digital and turn strong ideas into polished, production-ready design. You’ll sit within Keep Left’s creative team and work alongside strategists, writers, PR specialists, content makers and client service teams to help bring brand and campaign ideas to life.

The role is suited to a designer who is both digitally native and AI fluent, with strong craft, good instincts and a sharp eye for what works across social and digital channels. You’ll be confident moving between concept development, campaign rollout, presentation design and production, using AI tools to support research, ideation, visual exploration and workflow efficiency while applying strong creative judgement and design fundamentals throughout.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF THIS ROLE

You’ll help create high-quality visual communications across campaigns, social media, content, presentations, digital channels and brand systems.

You’ll design assets for communications, advertising and social media campaigns, bringing a strong understanding of platform nuances, mobile-first design and digital rollouts. You’ll support the development of campaign look and feel, key visuals and visual systems, then roll these out across social, digital display, websites, pitch decks, case studies, credentials, reports, print collateral and promotional materials.

You’ll also help turn rough ideas, strategy and content into clear, polished and persuasive presentation decks across PowerPoint, Keynote and Canva where needed. From campaign mock-ups to client presentations, you’ll make complex information feel simple, sharp and beautifully designed.

This is a hands-on role in a fast-moving creative agency, so you’ll need to be organised, open to feedback, strong on detail and able to manage multiple tasks without compromising craft.

THE EXPERIENCE WE’RE LOOKING FOR

The successful candidate will bring:

  • 2–5 years’ experience in graphic design, digital design, campaign design or a related creative role
  • Strong conceptual, typographic, layout and artworking skills
  • A strong understanding of social media design, digital channels and mobile-first creative
  • Experience designing campaign assets across earned, owned and paid channels
  • Confidence rolling out approved creative across multiple formats, platforms and touchpoints
  • Strong presentation design skills across PowerPoint, Keynote and ideally Canva
  • The ability to work within existing brand guidelines while helping evolve visual systems
  • Strong attention to detail, file hygiene and version control
  • A collaborative approach and confidence working with creative, strategy, content and client service teams
  • Curiosity, creative energy and a willingness to keep learning new tools and platforms

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS REQUIRED

The successful candidate will bring:

  • High proficiency across Adobe Creative Cloud, Figma, PowerPoint and Keynote
  • AI fluency, with experience using tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini or similar to support ideation, visual exploration, workflow and production efficiency
  • A strong understanding of digital production and campaign rollout requirement
  • The ability to interpret briefs quickly and propose appropriate visual solutions
  • The ability to take feedback and apply it quickly, accurately and thoughtfully
  • Strong time management and the ability to work across multiple briefs and deadlines
  • A high standard of design craft and quality control
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in design, visual communication or a related field
  • Bonus skills in motion design, video editing, After Effects or Canva will be regarded
