Our Commitment To Diversity: We strive to be a leader in building and cultivating an employee community framed around fairness, support and opportunity. We believe that what makes us different, makes a difference. And as a team, the diversity of our backgrounds, interests and experiences is what enriches our work, and our workplaces. We welcome all, and we strive for an inclusive culture that allows individual growth and shared success.

The creative services department is looking for a talented, energetic, and optimistic professional to fill the role of a Graphic Designer. Strong people skills and a positive, "can-do" attitude are essential. We are looking for a designer with unlimited creativity—someone who focuses on fresh ideas and flawless execution rather than getting bogged down by the tools they use.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Design print, magazine and promotional materials based on client needs.
  • Ensure all digital/print assets adhere to established corporate guidelines and maintain visual consistency.
  • Work with sales representatives to determine and meet their clients’ creative needs.
  • Proof ads to clients and make necessary corrections in a timely fashion.
  • Monitor ad queue and traffic ads and corrections to our production center.
  • Work with the creative services team to develop web presence and maintain web properties.
  • Available to work evenings when required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned including PowerPoint presentations, sales sheets, etc.

Qualifications

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

  • Degree or Diploma in Graphic Design or in a related field and/or equivalent work experience.
  • Strong working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office within a Mac environment. Experience with HTML, CSS, and web design not required but is an asset.
  • Powerful people skills and a knack for communicating clearly with a variety of individuals and groups.
  • Highly adaptable, positive, “can-do” attitude, team player and open to criticism.
  • High degree of initiative, organization and time management skills with extreme attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle multiple assignments.

What We Offer:

  • Growth Opportunities: Access to your continuous learning, professional development, and the tools you need to succeed
  • Supportive team: Collaborate with a dedicated team of professionals committed to your success and invested in your growth
  • Comprehensive Benefits Defined pension plan (rare perk in today’s market), health coverage, and other benefits to support your long-term success
  • Proven Brand Join a media powerhouse with credibility, resources, and market presence
