About the Team
The Employer Branding team is a cross-disciplinary group of strategists, designers, and producers shaping how ByteDance is experienced by talent globally. Working at the intersection of strategy, content, and recruitment marketing, the team defines employer branding directions aligned with hiring priorities, partners with HR and recruitment on targeted campaigns, and collaborates with business units to tailor approaches for different roles, markets, and talent segments.
We are seeking an experienced and driven Brand Designer to develop employer branding content across the team. This role owns end-to-end design, from concept through execution and iteration, ensuring all outputs align with employer branding strategy and hiring priorities.
As both a craft expert and creative partner, you will translate ideas into strong visual systems and assets, collaborate closely with strategists and producers, and maintain a high bar for quality while delivering efficiently and with impact.
Responsibilities
1. Lead visual design for employer branding initiatives, translating company culture into engaging external-facing content.
2. Design across key touchpoints including social media, employer branding platforms, and offline events.
3. Develop cohesive creative assets for campaigns, ensuring consistency across channels and formats.
4. Contribute to the design and continuous iteration of employer branding digital experiences, applying UX thinking to improve candidate journey, clarity, and content effectiveness.
5. Own projects end-to-end from concept to execution, collaborating with cross-functional teams and external vendors to ensure timely delivery.
